CANTINA St. Peter Ausserpfefferlehen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The St. Peter Ausserpfefferlehen estate is located between 300-350 meters above sea level in Lana, South Tyrol. The Vineyards are located between Lana di Sotto (Niederlana) and Lana di Mezzo (Mitterlana) and have been cultivated organically from the beginning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The St. Peter estate was established by Roland Gamper in 2004. A fruit grower for many years, he inherited a passion for winemaking from his ancestors – the Gamper family has been making wine for well over four generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vineyards have now grown to 2 hectares (5 acres) and in 2014 a new cellar was built which produces up to 10,000 bottles per year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All wines carry the Bioland mark of approval for organic production. White wines include Chardonnay, Gold Muscat and Muscaris. The red wines are Vernatsch (Schiava), Lagrein, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. They also produce a dessert wine “Aurea” as well as a Ros\u00e9 and various cuv\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 20xx a shop was opened in St.Peter Weg, Lana for visitors to taste and purchase wines along with simple food. Open from 4pm to 8pm daily, there is space for events and private functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2016 the wines have won numerous awards and ratings of up to 96\/100.
